Chef Frank Ostini has announced an expanded lunch menu and afternoon snack menu at Buellton’s Hitching Post 2, which will also be made available to wine tasters visiting his sister property, the charming dining room. tasting of a farmhouse with gray and white finishes located at the exit of highway 246, Hitching Vins de poste.

Served chilled and piping hot, all menu items are prepared at The Hitching Post 2 location and delivered right next to Hitching Post Wines by tricycle or 3-wheel electric cart. Lucky guests may even spot Frank Ostini, always present, personally making the deliveries.

Hitching Post 2’s “HP 2 You” lunch menu items range from $ 6 to $ 13 and include a steak salad with blue cheese crumbles; Grilled chicken salad with corn salsa; Corn and Cheese Quesadilla; the classic grilled artichoke with smoked tomato mayonnaise; South Carolina Pulled Pork Sandwich with Brioche Bun; Steak and caramelized onion sandwich.

The new appetizer snack menu ranges from $ 10 to $ 14 and includes slowly roasted garlic with herbs, roasted peppers, balsamic and olive oil; Mushrooms sautéed on the barbecue, grilled for a smoky flavor and sautéed with red wine and spices, served with garlic toast; Oak-grilled HP Steak Bites served with salsa and toasted garlic bread.
