HORTUS NYC Announces New Fall Menu


Hortus NYC, located at 271 5th Avenue, announced their new fall menu. The seasonal menu is Executive Chef Lenny Moon’s second and features his signature style of showcasing the flavors of China, Japan, Korea and Southeast Asia in dishes that are both delicious and stylish. at an affordable price.

Highlights of the fall menu include appetizers like caviar lobster claws, wasabi tuna, and sea urchins; Yuzu Bacon Rose pasta, rigatoni served in a tomato sauce with green onions and cream; and Kabocha Pumpkin Soup, Butternut Squash, Spicy Pumpkin Seeds, Apple Chutney.

There are main dishes such as the New York Strip Steak, served with seasonal vegetables and miso chimichurri; Cod with Korean chives, Thai chili, chive oil and shrimp sauce; and chicken, served in a red curry sauce with marinated cauliflower and a crispy rice cake

While the menu has been redesigned, customers prefer king crab noodles, fettuccine with cream of mala sauce, shallots and green onions; and Sea Urchin Donabe, made with mashed nori, ikura, dried egg yolk and black truffles; have become a staple in the kitchen of Hortus NYC.
