Marco’s Pizza Popular menu items, ranked from worst to best

In 2020, Marco’s Pizza introduced pizza bowls to its menu. As Eat Brand explains, this gluten-free product is a pizza without the bread, ideal for customers with special dietary needs, such as gluten-free or Keto. Diners are offered a platter of ingredients like cheese, sauce and other toppings cooked in a tray. There were initially three pizza bowl options: the All Meat Pizza Bowl, the Deluxe Pizza Bowl, and the Garden Pizza Bowl.

As far as we’re concerned, the Deluxe Pizza Bowl is the clear favorite. Part of the reason is its availability at all Marco’s Pizza locations nationwide. Another reason could be the ingredients, as they combine which is great with the All Meat Pizza Bowl (having several types of meat) and the Garden Pizza Bowl (offering several different vegetables). According the menu, the Deluxe Pizza Bowl is “pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushrooms, green peppers and onions, cooked with our original sauce and three signature cheeses, topped with Romesan seasoning”. As Poultry meat explains, Romesan is a seasoning similar to Parmesan, which is infused with Italian herbs and spices.

On Yelp, the Deluxe Pizza Bowl has fans. “The crustless deluxe bowl was fabulous,” one person said. “They look good and taste even better,” wrote another. If you want to get a bowl, go for the Deluxe option. However, we would choose higher ranked items – including normal pizzas – before ordering a bowl.
