Native Foods launches its summer menu

Native Foods, the fast-casual vegan brand serving plant-based delights, announces exciting new menu updates with the launch of its Summer Menu, now available at all Native Foods stores.

Native Foods’ seasonally rotating menu is rooted in themes that accentuate the brand’s creative and innovative approach to vegan cuisine, and this summer’s menu is no exception. The summer menu is inspired by summer barbecues, picnics and street fairs. New Executive Chef Chris Bertke has developed new creations using the freshest ingredients.

According to Bertke, “We wanted to offer customers a choice of simple summer menu options that they can easily take with them on the go, whether to the beach or the park. We are delighted to launch this summer menu because there really is something for everyone! »

Each new dish added to Native Foods’ summer menu features fresh, colorful vegetables (or fruit in the case of dessert). Encouraging guests to get out and enjoy the summer months, the new summer menu includes an Elote Dip appetizer, rainbow salad, garden BBQ bowl, fresh chicken sandwich, tacos from BBQ pork rue and a lime cheesecake parfait.

Elote Dip

Roasted corn, creamy chili-lime sauce, cilantro, vegan cotija cheese and tortilla chips

Rainbow Salad

Vegetable bacon, vegetable cheddar, peas, tomatoes, red onion, cucumber, lettuce and green goddess vinaigrette (also available in a wrap)

Choice of Plant-Based BBQ Pork or Crispy BBQ Cauliflower, Mac and Cheese, Southern Coleslaw and Braised Kale

BBQ Pork Street Tacos

Plant-based BBQ pork, onion, cilantro, plant-based cotija cheese, and green goddess dressing, all on a corn tortilla (with side dish)

Fresh chicken sandwich

Plant-Based Chicken Salad with Celery, Onion, Parsley, Mayonnaise, Plant-Based Bacon, and Lettuce, all on Sourdough Bread (with side dish)

Perfect Key lime cheesecake

Lime Custard, Plant-Based Cheesecake Topping, Oatmeal Cookie Crumbs, and Lime Wedge

Additionally, Native Foods is bringing back its most successful chef’s dish of 2022 – the Munchwrap Supreme until mid-October.The Munchwrap Supreme includes plant-based taco meat, plant-based cheese sauce, avocado, pico de gallo, creamy chipotle sauce, corn tortilla, and lettuce on a flour tortilla. This menu item is not seasonal and will be available year round. They also added garlic parmesan fries as a side dish (permanent addition) and they now offer a grilled cheese sandwich on the kids menu (permanent addition).
