MANILA, Philippines — There’s more to love at Enbu as the restaurant reopens with a new menu to excite the palate. The restaurant is reigniting its kitchen grill to serve Japanese food enthusiasts and loyal patrons a slew of new dishes to savor.

Enbu offers a full range of classic Japanese dishes perfect for Sake and wine pairings. The entire dining experience is enhanced by the visual spectacle of live cooking complemented by a beautiful dining setting accented by 2,160 chochin lanterns hanging from the ceiling, reminiscent of the festivals and picturesque streets of Japan.
The new menu offerings combine all-time favorites and much-loved Japanese must-haves. There are other appetizers to enjoy including light and refreshing salads such as calamari salad, cheese tempura and an assortment of sushi (maguro, salmon, white fish and fish of the day), sashimi (maguro, Salmon, moriawaseetc.) and maki (spicy tuna roll, kani salad roll, tempura maki, dragon roll, etc.).
Savor delicious kushiyaki plates (grilled meat and vegetable skewers) as recommended by the chef, a sample plate including beef, pork, chicken, fish and vegetables.
If you want to spice things up, try the Kushi Yaki with a choice of salty or sweet soy sauce from buta (pork liver, torikawa (chicken skin), uzura bacon, butabara (pork belly), shimototsu (pig intestines), various mushrooms and more, as well as Kushi Yaki with a special sauce.
Ramen is also now part of the menu. Enjoy piping hot bowls of shoga-shoyu ramen, miso ramen, or stamina ramen, all of which contain fresh noodles and premium ingredients.
At the helm of Enbu’s kitchen is its dynamic new chef, Chef Yuji Abe, who hails from scenic Saitama, Japan, and whose passion and culinary expertise has opened doors for him to work in the kitchen. ‘foreign.
He brings with him a rich experience of 28 years specializing in Japanese cuisine.
Diners can also watch Chef Abe and his team showcase their culinary skills, including slow cooking the finest meats and local produce over charcoal, resulting in beautifully charred dishes full of smoky flavor.
Enbu is located on the ground floor of the Crystal Corridor in the Coral Wing. The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Wednesday to Sunday.
