ST. GEORGE- It’s time for another episode of “What’s on the Menu” and another adventure in eating great food in Southern Utah. Accompanied by royalty in the form of Miss Washington County runner-up Zoe Sewell, host Sheldon Demke stopped by Super Chix’s St. George.

Serve “the last real chicken sandwich” SuperChix puts their outrageously addictive breaded or grilled chicken on favorites like the bacavo ranch chicken sandwich. It’s all the ingredients for a classic BLT plus avocado and ranch dressing.

“Now this thing packs a punch!” Demke said. “I love ranch, but ranch in a chicken sandwich? I’m sold.”

Next, the cheesy barbecue chicken sandwich with delicious barbecue sauce, plus that fantastic chicken and cheese that is actually melted on the grill. Add onion rings and brush on some more barbecue sauce, and bam! Perfection.

The cheese barbecue was my favorite“, Sewell said. “It reminded me of that old sandwich I used to eat when I was a kid. It certainly brought back memories.

The duo also tried the Asian Sesame Salad, a delicious mix of mixed greens with a sesame dressing, tangerines, carrots, Fresno peppers, cashews and chicken on top. And just for good measure, they finished with an order of loaded fries.

“We couldn’t say no! Demke said. “Look at them.”
