Panera is bringing back two lobster menu items for the summer

My summer diet includes three essential staple foods: rosé, oysters and lobster. But now it has become much more convenient to hang the latter. Panera is bringing its fan-favorite Lobster Rolls and Lobster Mac & Cheese back to menus after a three-year hiatus.

Just in time for Memorial Day, the cafe-style chain is reintroducing its lobster-filled favorites at 200 locations in the Northeast starting May 25.

“At Panera, we regularly change our menu to bring in the flavors of the seasons, and we’re thrilled to offer our east coast guests two exceptional lobster dishes for summer,” said the executive chef and restaurant manager. innovation Claes Petersson in a press release. at Thrillist. “Pairing juicy, delicious lobster with our signature mac and cheese is truly ‘The Familiar, Made Fantastic’ – and it’s a bold flavor sensation that we think our customers will want to see on the menu all year round.”

Lobster Mac & Cheese is a spin on Panera’s already beloved velvety white cheddar macaroni from Vermont, but now it’s topped with buttered lobster meat and seasoned with Panko breadcrumbs.

The Lobster Roll, on the other hand, similarly contains lobster claws and shank meat, but is tossed in a dressing made with lemon and tarragon mayonnaise and piled into a New England Roll. The roll will cost you between $22.99 and $25.99 or $20.49 to $23.49 for a You Pick 2, while the Mac costs $9.99 to $10.99 for a small and between 18 $.49 and $19.99 for a large.
