A brand new pizzeria is about to open in downtown Evansville and judging by the look of the menu, it will offer a wide range of gourmet versions of the popular Italian dish.

Today, you can get virtually anything you want on a pizza in a number of styles, from thin crust to thick crust, New York style, Chicago style, Detroit style, and crusts made from ground cauliflower. Pangea Pizzeria announces opening date and publishes full menu
The new Pangea Pizzeria, located at the corner of NW 2nd and Ingle Streets in downtown Evansville in space formerly occupied by 2nd Harvest in the former National Biscuit Company building, is currently operating under a “soft opening” through Saturday, July 16 (2022) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day, according to Evansville 411 News on Facebook. Their grand opening is set for Tuesday, July 19.
Earlier this week, the restaurant’s owners, who also own and operate the popular Pangea Kitchen at 111 South Plaza at the intersection of Green River Road and the Lloyd Expressway, released the full menu of what customers will have to choose from. when they stop by to try out the new location on their Facebook page. At first glance, the restaurant will put its own twist on classic pizzas and offer some globally-inspired pies that you’re unlikely to find anywhere else. In addition to pizza, Pangea will also offer homemade gelatos and sorbettos (Italian ice cream).
