Subway’s vegan menu now features two new plant-based subs

Notice to all lovers of vegetable cuisine! We have some amazing vegan news that we just got from to know you will fall for … Subway has launched even more vegan menu items! Say hello to the new TLC Tikka (Tastes.Like.Chicken.) And TLS (Tastes.Like.Steak.) In the food chain.

Subway launched the Classic TLC in 2020, but this year the iconic sandwich company has taken matters into their own hands with a whole new splash of flavor. TLC Tikka is made with plant-based “chicken” strips with tikka-inspired flavors, designed to mimic Subway’s roasted chicken breast strips. And the best part? You can get it with slices of vegan cheese.

Available in stores now, you can get your hands on this spice-inspired vegan sub in a 6-inch, foot-sized sub along with a salad or wrap. But hurry! It is only available until February 15.

TLS, meanwhile, is being deployed on a trial basis in 350 stores across eastern England. So we’ll have to wait and see what the verdict on that one will be! Although we’re pretty sure it’ll be pretty darn delicious.

Mays Elansari, UK & Ireland Marketing Manager at Subway, said: “Our new plant-based TLC Tikka and TLS taste so delicious that vegans, flexitarians and non-vegans will love them! At Subway, we pride ourselves on having one of the best one of the widest and tastiest ranges of herbal choices on Main Street, without any compromise on flavor or taste, to deliver yet more choice for our customers. “

Both items join Subway’s already extensive plant-based menu, with dishes like a meatless meatball marinara, a Veggie Delite, and a Vegan Double Choc Cookie.
